1. Who we are

KbSnap.in ("KbSnap", "we", "us") provides free browser-based tools to resize photos and signatures, compress images and PDFs, and convert files for online application forms. This policy explains what information is handled when you use www.kbsnap.in and the choices you have. KbSnap is run by Venkatesh, based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, who is responsible for this website and the personal data described below.

2. Your files never leave your device

Photos, signatures, PDFs and other files you open in our tools are processed entirely inside your web browser using standard browser features (Canvas, Web Workers and WebAssembly). They are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see, store or recover them. Processed files exist only in your browser's memory until you download them or close the page. Names and dates you type into the photo tools are handled the same way.

3. Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Google Analytics may collect:

• pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from a search engine) and time spent on the site;
• device type, browser, operating system, screen size and approximate location (city or region);
• tool events such as "processing started" or "download completed", with the tool name and a rough output-size range — never file contents, file names or anything you type.

IP anonymisation is enabled. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

KbSnap is free because it shows advertising served by Google AdSense. In connection with advertising:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised. Ads never have access to the files you process with our tools.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

• Analytics cookies (for example _ga) set by Google Analytics to distinguish visits.
• Advertising cookies set by Google and its partners to deliver, limit and measure ads, as described above.

KbSnap itself does not use cookies to identify you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools keep working without them.

6. Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you enter are sent to us through the Web3Forms email service so we can reply. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and message. We keep these messages only as long as needed to answer you (normally up to 90 days) and do not add you to any mailing list.

7. Children

Our tools are general-audience tools used by students and job applicants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (for example a contact-form message) and to withdraw consent. Email support@kbsnap.in and we will respond within 30 days.

We will update this page if our practices change and change the "Last updated" date above.
