HEIC to JPG Converter

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which most government portals and Windows apps can’t open. Add your HEIC photos and get standard JPGs that upload anywhere.

Conversion runs on your device, so large batches may take a few seconds per photo on older phones.

Why HEIC photos get rejected

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) keeps iPhone photos small, but exam, bank and government upload forms usually accept only JPG or JPEG. Uploading a HEIC file often fails or shows “invalid format”.

KbSnap decodes HEIC in the browser, applies the photo’s rotation, and saves a JPG at the quality you choose. You can also cap the size in KB when a form has a limit.

How to use it

  1. Choose one or more HEIC photos (from Files or Photos on iPhone).
  2. Keep Quality at 90%, or switch to Max file size for a KB limit.
  3. Press Convert.
  4. Download each JPG, or all of them as a ZIP.

Tips for iPhone photos

  • To stop HEIC in future, set Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible.
  • Sharing by Mail or AirDrop sometimes converts to JPG — but not always.
  • For exam forms that need exact pixels, use Resize Image in KB after converting.
  • Live Photos convert to a still JPG.

Will the photo be rotated correctly?

Yes. The orientation stored in the photo is applied before saving the JPG.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Images are converted by your browser on your device and never sent to KbSnap or anyone else.
